EBA defeated OTG of the South Peninsula 45-35. EBA defeated the Lady Stars from the South San Francisco area 43-26 with Stephanie Archie and Michelle Knafla each scoring 10 points. Anna Bartel had 14 points in a 35-32 win over the Gilroy Lady Titans.
Bradley had 16 points and 15 rebounds in a 47-38 loss to the Shasta Magic.Įlevation Basketball Academy’s 14-and-under team went 3-0 to win the white division title at the Mission Rec Center AAU tournament in San Francisco. In a 49-17 loss to the Lumberjax, Hunter Mootz had four points. Johnson had 10 points and Cameron Bradley had 13 rebunds in a 37-25 loss to Redding Basketball Academy.
The Elevation Basketball Academy sixth-grade team went 0-3 in Redding. Coburn went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Galbraith added two more hits to bring his weekend total t 9-for-13 (.692). In the second game, a 6-1 victory, Stanley, Clay Eagleton and Zach Korte held Paradise to only three hits. Jordan Barnes, Loughlin and Galbraith each had two hits and a double. But Paradise answered back with two in the bottom of the inning, resulting in a 10-10 tie. On Sunday, the Rice (10-4-2) traveled to play the Paradise Nuggets and rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a two-run lead. Galbraith had three of the Rice’s five hits. In game two, Austin Arbogast and Loughlin only allowed five hits combined, but the Rice committed three errors to account for three unearned Flames runs. Matt Benson, Brandon Coborn, Brett Loughlin and Zach Galbraith each had two hits apiece. Eli Stanley threw five scoreless innings, allowing just three hits, and the Rice offense pounded out 13 hits. The Chico Rice American Legion baseball team split a doubleheader with the Folsom Flames on Saturday, winning the first game 14-0 but dropping the second 4-2.
